For Murdoch & News Corp, Own Blood in Water, by Ambassador mo

The arrest of News Corps recently resigned UK head Rebekah Brooks raises the quality as well as volume and takes it beyond just negative headlines regarding News Corp and Rupert Murdoch and son James leadership. The accusations become now more detailed and infringing upon illegality, in the UK but also other key countries of operation. Corruption: Alleged bribery of police or “corruption” by World of the News officials including its former head Ms. Brooks could produce significant penalties for the individuals and institutions involved. The resignation of police officials in the UK adds more blood to the political waters in the UK and globally. The more difficult stigma may be one that affects operations for News Corp in several other countries, particularly the United States. “Good Character”: Bribery of foreign officials violates US law, and News Corp is formally a US based corporation. Further, News Corp may be deemed not to meet the “in good standing” or “good character” criteria necessary in many jurisdictions, including the US, for securing public broadcast and other media licenses. US Investigations: It appears that at least two US based investigations have been launched including by the US FBI, presumably on the “corruption” or bribery of foreign officials as well as potential hacking efforts at 9/11 victims. Some US Congressman, both Republicans and Democrats have raised the political volume. It would not be unexpected that Rupert and James Murdoch would be requested to appear before the US Congress after appearing before the UK Parliament. (See ARTICL:E - diplomaticallyincorrect.org/films/blog_post/news-corp-murdoch-international-face-off-by-ambassador-mo/31672 ) US based FOX broadcaster and related film and television production is News Corps most valuable resource, financially and as political bonnet. News Corp share market valuation has already dropped by around 20%, and pressure as well as uncertainty continues. Blood in Water: Rupert Murdoch has worked in the past with the efficiency of a shark, but it is now his own blood in the water. The Green Party in Australia has already started calling for investigations there. He has made too many enemies and they will look to match his characteristic ruthlessness, even if each on their own might not be big enough to take him down. (See ABOVE ARTICLE on News Corp Investor considerations). At some time, key investors may be inclined to detach Murdoch’s bleeding from that of what otherwise may be a still formidable News Corp set of assets.
