APEC (Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation)summit 2015 is being hosted in the Philippines. This is held in Manila from November 18-19.

During these days, it is expected that the traffic problem in Manila will be doubled if not tripled since some major roads will be closed. Manila is known to be one of the most traffic city in the Philippines.

Since these days were declared holiday in Manila, It is a long weekend. Most people from Manila  would take the opportunity to escape from experiencing the said traffic. 

My city, Baguio City, is likely to be the one of the destinations of the Manilanians (people from Manila). They wanted to escape the traffic but ironically, they will bring the traffic along with them. 

Baguio city council will view this in a positive way. It will increase the city's economy. 

As for Baguio people, they are even smarter. They know tourists will be coming and know how traffic it will be so they prefer to stay home spending time with their family.
