Fundamental rights in general are those absolute rights that a citizen of a country possesses and that cannot be taken from them.Many countries have stated the fundamental rights of their people.Some of the fundamental rights are given below:
1.Safety of life:
The right to safety of life.It is the responsibility of the government of Pakistan to protect the lives of its citizens.
2.Personal liberty:
The right to personal liberty.Nobody should be arrested without warrants,nobody can be jailed without proper trial in a court.
3.Justice:
The right to justice.Everyone should be treated fairly.There should be no discrimination on the basis of religion,sect,race or anything else.All men and women are equal.
4.Dignity:
The right to dignity.No citizen should be humiliated.Everyone should have a chance to live with dignity.
5.Privacy:
The right to privacy.Nobody should be searched by anyone(including the police) without proper search warrant.
6.Movement:
The right to movement.Nobody should be stopped from travelling.
7.Assembly:
The right to assembly.People can meet each other when ever they like to do so
.
8.Profession:
The right to profession.People can choose any profession they like.
9.Expression:
The right to expression.People can say or write whatever they like as long as they do not hurt other citizens by doing so.Hence,if they want to criticize the government by saying or writing something about it,they should be free to do so.
10.Ownership:
The right to ownership.Every citizen is free to own a property through purchase,gift or inheritance.Nobody should take away a property from a citizen who rightfully own it.
11.Equality:
The right to equality.All citizens should get equal opportunities for developing themselves.
