This is the review of new Galaxy Star 2 Plus smartphone made by Samsung and powered by Android.

It is a low end basic budget smartphone for a low price. It is 9.4 mm thick.

Out of the box it boots into Android v4.4 (KitKat).       

     

Galaxy Star 2 Plus has 4.3 inch TFT Capacitive Display with the resolution of 480 x 800 .

The pixel density is 217 ppi and there is no scratch resistant glass protection provided.    

 

On the back there is a 3.15 megapixels camera with LED flash and unfortunately there is no front facing camera in this smartphone, so it lacks the video calling feature.    

 

 

Galaxy Star 2 Plus is powered by 1.2 GHz processor and 512 mb of ram.

The internal memory is 4 gb and there is a micro SD card slot which supports up to 32GB. The phone is available in black, and white color only.

It has, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi b/g/n, FM,  Mobile Hotspot, and supports micro usb 2.0, 3g connectivity.
