My Hideaway Place
Sometimes life in the city can be so stressful. It gets into my nerves and I just feel so tired. What I do is go to this serene place where life is simple. Kids playing around in the seashore, looking at them makes me smile. Those smiling faces full of ignorance and just enjoying what little they have. They play with this "app" called outside, because there's no modern technology they could tinker around, like this laptop. No internet, just the nature around them. What a refreshing sight.
I like looking at those boats getting ready to head along and toughen it up the rough seas. Fishermen busy hauling their nets and paddles and heading along to catch some fish for their wives to sell and for their daily consumption. What a simple life, I know it was hard for them, food are sometimes scarce, but they are contented for whatever little they have. I can see the smile on their faces. The women just laugh and joke around. It was refreshing to listen to their stories and they can even offer me some of the food they cooked. Sometimes those people who have less gives more.
This is my little spot. I like it here because I can see everything, the things that simple life has to offer. It makes me appreciate life more. This is my recharging place. Oh well time to go back to the grind. Battling the city life again. One day soon, I'll end up going back to this place to get recharge again, just like this laptop when the batteries are drain, it must be charged, just like the human body when we get tired all we need to do is unwind and be recharged.
Have a great week ahead of you my dear friends.
