Ginataang Kalabasa(Recipe)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shrimps; shelled
  • 1 medium sized squash; cut in cubes
  • 1 bunch string beans; 2 inches length
  • 1 small onion; chopped
  • 1 small tomato; chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic; minced
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 2 green chilli peppers
  • 1 tablespoon shrimp paste (bagoong alamang)
  • Salt to taste

 

Instructions

  1. Saute garlic, onion, and tomato.
  2.  Add shrimp paste and coconut milk.
  3. Bring to a boil in medium low fire, then add the vegetables.
  4. When vegetables are tender, add shrimps and green chilli peppers.
  5. Cook until done.
  6. Adjust seasoning according to taste.
  7. Transfer to a serving plate .Serve hot.
