Glitter-painted photos, rooftopping and avocado and feta filled bagels; the perfect way to end the holidays. My friend Soph (yes, she is also called Sophie) and I decided we would go explore the famous pink rooftop in China Town the other day and it was heaps of fun. We bought our lunch and sat on the rooftop admiring the view of China Town, the city and some pretty pink walls. After being kicked off the rooftop (if you ever see men in navy uniform checking cars up there, go straight back down) we decided to go print off the photos and paint them with glitter.
This is my first fashion post (I did do a fashion post when I first started blogging, but I deleted that) and although I was apprehensive about posting on fashion, I am so glad I have. Personally, I think the photos turned out really well and the glitter looks pretty cool. I still definitely need to work on my posing skills, but fashion has always been a big passion of mine and I can't wait to share more with you.
I was wearing a dress from Leonard St with a gorgeous pattern on it including stars, moons, rockets, planets, constellations and more. The detailing of the dress is gorgeous and I love the colours. I paired with the dress my old, pink converse to match the colours of the dress and rooftop walls and to tone down the "prettiness" of the dress. Although this is a simple outfit, I think it looks really cute and you can dress up the dress with a pair of heels, wedges or sandals.
I hope you enjoyed this post! It is very different to what I normally post, but it is more me (I think). Tell me what you think in the comments below. By the way, I am so sorry about not posting in over a month!! I have been so busy with travelling overseas (expect travel vlogs soon), new years decluttering, preparing for school, seeing friends and working on the new blog design (get excited). However, I am back and ready to stay! Stay tuned for more.
