Global village is one of the many annual festivals in Dubai. It is unique in attracting visitors for shopping as well as cultural activities. While you shop and feel hungry, you will find variety of food from different cultures across the world. The participating countries represent their food, culture, fashion and many other specialties from their homeland. The first annual Global village was located on Creek side; later on it moved to Oud Metha and then Dubai Festival City. However, since 2005 it has got a permanent place at Mohammad Shiekh Bin Zayed Road Exit 37. Global Village hosts more than 25 countries pavilions.
Timing of the Park
Global Village is open 7 days a week from 4 PM onwards. Except Thursdays, Fridays and public holidays when it’s gates are closed at 1AM; it is open till 12 AM. If you are a family person, then Monday is your day (except public holidays).
VIP Packs
Global Village offers VIP pack for its loyal and frequent visitors. VIP packages are available in 3 categories, viz: 1, 2, 3. The price ranges from AED 900 to AED 4000. Offers include entry tickets, valet parking passes, VIP car stickers that give privileged access to VIP parking.
Number of Countries Pavilions, Restaurants and Retail Shops
This year Global Village is hosting 31 countries in its purpose built pavilions. Each country’s pavilion hosts restaurants and retail shops from that country.
Entertainment
Global village is in its 20th Season and continues to offer the best family entertainment experience in the UAE. Hosting shows ranging from thrilling stunt shows, bespoke spectacular shows, street performances and cultural shows from around the world, Global Village vouches that families will enjoy every minute spent at the park with so much to do and see. Global Village will host over 12,000 shows in just over 5 months, this season.
Global Village introduces “Hollywood Stunt Show”, which will show you how famous Hollywood stunts are done. From car chases to bike drills, prepare for a show like no other. This show is starting from November 11th to December 12th 2015.
