This week in Davos (Switzerland) politicians and billionaires meet to discuss about wealth inequality.
The main subject will be, how to stop this dangerous trend.
By next year, the 1% of the world population, will own more than all the others together.
Can you imagine this?
This gap is widening, many populations in several countries risk to become poor.
If they want to stop the trend, I wonder why this meeting is held in Switzerland.
My country is listed by the Consumer Price Index as the most expensive of the world. (I am not surprised, due to the recent revaluation of the Swiss Francs.)
According to the above mentioned index these are the top most expensive countries (compared to the city of New York).
- Switzerland (26% more expensive than New York)
- Norway (+18%)
- Venezuela (surprising! +11%)
Bottom of the list, so less expensive country for the expat are:
- India (75% cheaper than New York)
- Nepal (-72%)
- Pakistan (-70%)
