I never appreciated how technology worked until my visit to Cebu. There was actually this one app, that allowed us to experience free taxi ride. It was Grabataxi. Astig lang. There was this promo code which should be entered and it automatically slashes Php60 on the taxi meter. There were occassions when the meter only reads at 54, and the taxi driver would still give us a change of Php6. But then, of course, we just give it to the driver for being so friendly and all. Andi, i guess, taxi drivers there are friendly, without the rudeness. They would even pass to be tourist guides. How cool is that?
