It was a long time demand of the people of both Delhi and Lucknow for an AC double-decker train between the two cities. Finally, the Commissioner Railway Safety (CRS) has sanctioned the clearance for a double-decker train that will ply between the national capital and Lucknow.  The date of launching the train is yet to be finalized, but it is likely to be flagged off shortly before the Holi festival.
