Kaduamtun, a Chilean music group of experimental psychedelic rock, born about 6 years ago and ready to record their first EP.
For years we had been talking about make a music video together and finally the opportunity appear. A Canadian production house offered to distribute their music and asked for at least one video. Kaduamtun bassist called me and said "now, let's make the video." The problem was, as always, there was no time and of course, there was no money. For a few days I turned my head to the proposal of the video and finally together with the band, decided to make a video with the technique of "found footage".
So, one night we build the narrative logic of the video and the next day we recorded a session with the band. For this first stage, we work with a team of my closest film collaborators. And now, the second stage, and also the most complex of all, collect footage, organize, discard. It was a long period, almost two months, and finally now we are done.
The video is a activist/political/society video with a discourse against war as a concept. And mainly seeks to raise awareness about the damage to the civilian population that war produces.
In a few weeks, we are going to make a simultaneous premiere in a concert and Filmannex.
