As I mentioned in one of my topic Steps for development of Agriculture in Afghanistan, the economic future of Afghanistan is stand on agriculture. Farmers cultivating legal crops are really happy because they will get government supports and as well religious leaders are offering them spiritual guidance.

Poppy cultivation harms Afghanistan, the people and even themselves. For this matter the choice is becoming clearer for many farmers to get Halal crops versus Haram crops.

Although plant disease, bad weather, weak of price in the markets, eradication programs, more labour and forcing formers to pay unlawful taxes have resulted in decrease of poppy production. But, the government supports through the distribution of fertilizers and certified seeds and preparing programs to aware farmers about damages of poppy cultivation is a key way to stop Haram crops.

It is the responsibility of officials to aim farmers to connect them with domestic and international markets and expose farmers to new technologies for their work.
