Following medium format camera H5D-50c was introduced in March last, professional camera company Hasselblad has launched a more advanced version of this product line with a resolution of up to 200MP named H5D- 200C. Not only medium format camera is a CMOS image sensor, H5D now also have the option to add an image sensor pixel 200 million, greater than 50MP on H5D-50c. Earlier, Hasselblad also do the same thing with the H4D line with the launch of the H4D-200ms model 200 mega-pixel sensor.

Hasselblad H5D-200C was developed based on H5D-50c prototype of it using an image sensor resolution of 50MP. Model 200C is capable of capturing 200MP image capture technology through multiple sheets, which can be 4 or 6 pictures, so clearly it was used H5D-200C sensor resolution is 50MP but physical multishot technology exclusive will produce images up to 200MP. An 8-bit TIFF image was taken by H5D-200C at maximum resolution will have capacity of about 600MB (600 megabytes).

In addition to using the line medium format CMOS sensor, the Hasselblad still selling model uses CCD (name suffix MS). One of the benefits of using CMOS sensors is that the shutter speed range wider, namely 12 minutes to 1/800 sec. In addition, the camera's ISO range is 100-6400, wider than segment model but uses CCD sensor. Hasselblad said H5D-200C's price in the UK is about 48 thousand dollars.
