I love a good smoothie and I know I will have a delicious summer with these yummy smoothie recipes. Smoothies are the perfect breakfast or snack. I just love making them for myself and my kids. I have a huge sweet tooth and the right smoothie can really satisfy it. Summertime is the best time for most every fruit, so you can really up your smoothie game when the heat is on! I can’t wait to try some of these yummy smoothie recipes! Quite possibly one of my favorite summertime smoothies is a blueberry protein smoothie. It is packed with protein so it gives you energy to take on the days, which are much more hectic with the kids out of school! All you need is a container non-fat blueberry Greek yogurt, frozen or fresh blueberries, ½ scoop vanilla protein powder, 1 cup crushed ice and a little water. So delicious and satisfying! The chocolate silk smoothie is sure to become a favorite of everyone in your house! It is pretty much perfection in a glass. You can use the special chocolate greens powder, or simply cocoa powder and added sweetener. The addition of sweet strawberries and creamy milk make this almost like a sinful milkshake instead of a healthy smoothie! I don’t know about you, but a banana mango smoothie is synonymous with heaven if you ask me. Blending together banana, sweet delicious mango with milk and a little honey is the perfect way to start my day, or end it. We often have these mango smoothies for dessert. Adding strawberry just takes it up a notch!
