Living in Los Angeles, working in entertainment industry, I have heard so many men complaining how gold-digger LA girls are. Men get scared by girls who are money hungry, and what they do in reaction is playing with the girls. What is the result? The money is in the men’s hands, the girls are not able to get a penny out of it, neither the love. Eventually girls lose all, or in other words, they have never got, neither the money they want or love.
Girls complain how playful and jerky guys in LA are, but if you keep just thinking of money, taking money from others, you will never able to get either money or love, because you do not deserve it. You lose the essences of what praised women should have. Bible indicated clearly what women should do in terms of money. It is time to take the words and get the noble characters back, esp. in the tinsel-town like LA.
Proverb 31: 14 She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar.
Proverb 31: 16 She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard
Proverb 31: 17 She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.
Proverb 31: 18 She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night.
Proverb 31: 24 She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes.
Proverb 31: 25 She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
Proverb 31: 30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
No matter you are a girlfriend or a wife, you are in a status of being in a couple, you should take the responsibility that you are supposed to take, work hard and work smart on everything you do for the relationship or marriage, not thinking of taking other people’s possession. It does not matter how much you much money you make, what really matters is your faith to contribute and share the responsibility with your partner. At the end of the day, it is love and faith that push the relationship forward and keep the marriage stable.
