HERMAN CAIN-"Most MUSLIMS EXTREMISTS", by Ambassador mo

Cain’s un-American bias is no longer the issue, but why does it continue to attract voter support? Actually, more than majority of the Republican candidates pander to the same hate appeal, and it pays in fundraising and polls. It’s a bad day to be Muslim. It’s a worse time for America. "Most Muslims Extremists" If you have not heard Cain’s latest statement to GQ, here is the quote: “I have talked with Muslims that are peaceful Muslims. And I have had one very well known Muslim voice say to me directly that a majority of Muslims share the extremist views. Asked by the interviewer, Devin Gordon, if he thinks that his secret Muslim friend is right, Cain responds: “Yes, because that's his community. That's his community. I can't tell you his name, but he is a very prominent voice in the Muslim community, and he said that.” Cain later reiterated to CNN reporter Anderson Cooper that he was speaking of Muslims in America more specifically. (I actually may be considered an "extremist" by some, but not a religious one!) Muslims Subject to Litmus Test: Cain had initially launched into his anti-Muslim-American pandering 6 months earlier by saying that he would not appoint a Muslim-American to his cabinet if elected. He subsequently explained his prohibition on Muslims - he was talking about extremist or “jihadist” Muslims – as if such a person would be on anyone’s shortlist for a job in the White House. Regardless of this transparently illogical and insincere rationalization, a litmus test for any US citizen that is more demanding based on race, ethnicity or religion is both un-American and redefines all of us as potentially unequal before the law. Herman's "A Game": Bias & Sexism I would not necessarily agree with Alexander Burns of POLITICO implication that these statements are simple blunders. It’s actually Herman Cain going back to what he believes is his A-Game and comfort zone. As Burns does accurately point out: “Reverting back to an anti-Muslim, anti-Sharia law message may help him hold onto a slice of activist support.” (www.politico.com/news/stories/1111/68306.html#ixzz1dpvzTorN). With media attention focused on Herman Cain’s alleged and multiple sexual harassment accusers, and then his “Libya brain freeze,” (Photo, think his latest bias regarding Muslim Americans was a calculated tactic to get the focus off his scandals and to endear him as the lead hater, as Newt Gingrich is quickly catching up with that un-American Republican base. Cain’s appeal to excess though is not just targeted by anti-Muslim-American rhetoric. His campaign strategy seems to be about walking the right edge of the political spectrum and rejoicing in falling over to the bubba side. Cain calculates that many more people share his views, secretly or otherwise, and that his offense will translate into donations and votes in the privacy of the voting booth. Sexism has not worked so well for him – in part because half the voters are women and even more think it wrong. After Muslims, Herman Cain has an opinion on vegetarian pizza eaters – “The more toppings a man has on his pizza, I believe, the more manly he is … Because the more manly man is not afraid of abundance….A manly man don’t want it piled high with vegetables! He would call that a sissy pizza.” At least Cain knows a hell of a lot more about pizza then let's say international relations or Muslim-Americans or tax policy or women. For a marketing guy, Cain though knows very little or does not care much about our American brand. Appealing to the basest denominator - he is becoming a real pro.
