Hey There!

Josh Docherty here! I'm currently an aspiring Visual-Effects student at Teesside University, Middlesbrough. I love 3D Modelling, rendering, compositing and editing! I mainly specialize in film and commercial work, and I one-day hope to be working in my very own studio! But until then, I hope to gain as much experience as I can and get my name out there! Attached is an example of one of my promotion shots :-)

 

Upcoming Blogs

Over the coming months I'll be running various blogs about my current work at university and my own portfolio work for possible industry placement. My first blog will be my work on a 'Work-In-Progress' advert for my University's 'ExpoTees' company. Expotees runs competitions which award students with placements at the leading studios, such as Pixar, The Mill, MPC, Framestore and many other studios! My brief & VFX project is to create an advert for ExpoTees. It's actually a competition to see who can make the best advert for them, and the winner will be featured in a 2-page magazine spread on their work.
