2007- Satoshi Nakamoto. The legendary founder of Bitcoin.
It all started in the year 2007, when Satoshi Nakamoto began working on a new concept called Bitcoin. Although Satoshi Nakamoto is considered a citizen of Japan but the true fact might be that it is a combination of more than one person.
August 15, 2008-First application for the Bitcoin patent was put forward.
Neal Kin, Vladimir Oksman, and Charles Bry were the first three to file a patent for the theory of Bitcoin. However, all these three individuals denied any connection with Satoshi Nakamoto, the founder of the concept of Bitcoin.
August 18, 2008- Website registered
Finally, the domain Bitcoin.org was registered. This was a website that allowed any user to register a domain name. This is the domain that currently accepts Bitcoins.
October 31, 2008-The white paper of Bitcoin is published
Nakamoto publishes a blue print through a website that describes the theory of Bitcoin currency and answers to many questions such as the problem of double spending and preventing the currency from being copied or stolen.
November 9, 2008- The Bitcoin Project gets registered on SourceForge
First time the the Bitcoin project gets registered on a website named SourceForge.net. SourceForge.net is a open community website built for the development and distribution of free softwares.
