Jahaz Mahal is located at Mandu, Madhya Pradesh. It is one of the best monumental buildings in Mandu. It is a must see place for tourists who wants to do sightseeing in Mandu. Jahaz Mahal is surrounded by two artificial  lakes named Munj Talao and Kapur talao. Because of surrounding pond water it looks like a floating structure under water and hence this place is named as Jahaz Mahal. In English it is also named as Ship Palace. Ship means Jahaz and Palace means Mahal
