Hobo with a shotgun has a scene at the beginning of the homeless guy pushing a trolley through a real rough estate. The reason I like this is because the director has used continual action, to show the homeless guy walking somewhere, and interacting/looking at things on the way. It is mainly shown by one shot panning to the left following the guy walking down the street. I real like this as it is simple, but I feel for my film I would need to cut when my character interacts as it would get boring.
I Like the location for this film, I think that the dirty graffiti style on the walls really shows the grimy, dirtiness to the place. It also adds a nicer background instead of a boring plain wall. Having said that this is a gangster film so that location fits the rest of the film and maybe dose not represent the homeless guy. Still real nice though.
The trolley is another aspect that I think is interesting, instead of using black bags, i could fill it with things that represent his life. Giving the audience to think about when they see them.
I think the homeless guys face is brilliant. Minus the orange light though. The stubble bear that shows he is not clean and does not look after himself. I think his face is interesting to look at as well though, with all the creases in his face.
