            My favorite game is hockey. There are 18 player in a team will play this game, 11 player will be the main players other are substitute players. There are two goal keepers others are players. In hockey Australia is in the first place. Jammy Dwayer is world number one. Recent world cup has been won by them.

            There are lot of skills which require for hockey which are like hitting, scooping, dribbling, flicking, tapping, pushing etc.., this is the game where all over your body will work in it. Hockey is the second fastest game in the world next to basketball.

             The equipment which require for hockey is hockey stick, ball, hockey shoe, stockings, shin pads to protect our shin born, hand glow, mouth guard, face mask to protect the face from the ball hitting during penalty corner. Hockey sticks will comes in different sizes depends on their positions whether they forwarders, defender etc., sticks will be selected by individuals by their own. Hockey is one the dangerous game chances of getting injury is higher.

                   They are three types of grounds for field hockey which are mud ground, grass ground and Astro turf ground. Playing in astro turf will leads to lot of injuries to players. Ground has to be filled with water before they start playing hockey. Everyone just can’t play hockey like other games such as cricket, volley ball etc., proper professional training is must require for this game. Proper warm up is very important before starting the game, once game completed they we warm down.

                     Proper food diet is must for the hockey player. Lack of diet will decrease their stamina and fitness. Protein intake and essential vitamins are very important for players. To reach higher in hockey hard work and regular training in an International standards will helps you to grow higher in the field of hockey.
