Union Home Ministry of the government of India held a high-level meeting with home secretaries and DGPs of various states on Saturday to review the situation in the wake of the threat by the ISIS. Officials from 12 states, including Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Punjab and West Bengal attended the meeting, which discussed the efforts to be made to counter the militant group's ideologies and thus to resist the youths from joining the terror group.
