LAHORE - Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that the demonstration of culture and traditions of all provinces at Horse and Cattle Show is not only impressive but also a symbol of national unity and harmony.
“Holding such events promote sentiments of love and brotherhood,” the Sindh chief minister said while addressing the gathering at 2nd day of the show on Friday.
He also thanked Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif for inviting him to a national show. Provincial Ministers Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Khalil Tahir Sandhu, MNA Pervaiz Malik, Rangers Director General Maj-Gen Khan Tahir Javed Khan, officials and a large number of people were present there.
Provincial Minister for Minorities Affairs Khalil Tahir Sandhu welcomed the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah. Children presented unity tableau and formed the flag of Pakistan, which was highly appreciated by the spectators. Cavalcade, tent paging, horse dance, dog race and PT show were also presented. Military Police presented motorcycle stunts which were very much liked by the audience.
Qaim Ali Shah appreciated Shahbaz Sharif for reviving National Horse and Cattle Show after eleven years.
Education Minister Punjab Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan said that enthusiastic participation of the people of Lahore in the National Horse and Cattle Show was proof of their love for the country.
He said that civil and military institutions had brought peace in the country through their joint efforts. He said that the items presented by Rangers jawans were highly impressive. He also thanked the Sindh CM on participating in the show.
Mashhood also presented souvenir of National Horse and Cattle Show to Shah, while Khalil Tahir Sindhu presented albums.
