I have heard a lot about other people telling some depressing stories that often lead them to doing some silly things in life.

My brother read a lot about the causes and effects of depression to a certain person. He, himself, got depressed last month for no particular reason at all. He just feels like he wants to die, according to him, and he want to just end his life because he is looking for something he couldn't understand himself.

So we talked and we end up on an agreement that he will go on a two-week vacation to think things over and if he stays the same after that, then we will move to the next level, where he will resign from his job here and do whatever he wants to do with his life.

After two weeks, he came back lively and with a newer perspective in life. He became a changed man. But after that, it seemed that this depression thing has turned the tables on me. But I was not suicidal or what, I just thought of things with lesser value and I want to do nothing and go to a faraway place.

According to what my brother has read, depression could be contagious according to one psychiatrist. Maybe that's true because the first one that lose the drive around the household was our big boss, followed by my brother, followed by me, and then my husband...
