Having a child makes you question everything about yourself and takes you to breaking point and back like a yoyo. It makes you wonder how other mums and dads do it on a daily basis. I am in a very lucky position where I’m able to get help if I need it, whether it’s hiring someone to help me with household chores or with Finley. I would always prefer to be with my child and get help with the other stuff, but know this isn’t always possible.

Sometimes you just need a break. With the early mornings, constant activity, cooking (then binning most of it) and the battle of sleep, 24/7 is an understatement.

Despite this, we’ve had another busy few weeks: my beautiful Friend Amy got married, we had a fun night out in London (child free … eeek), had a fabulous BBQ at Arsenal and tested the local activities Hertfordshire has to offer over the summer holidays!
