HOW MUCH IS PRINCESS BEATRICE’s HAT WORTH? By Susan Sacirbey

The famous hat pictured above and worn to the wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William drew attention then, and now on EBay. The Princess has donated it for charity. UNICEF and a British based Charity, Children in Crisis, are to share the proceeds. And how much you ask? £81,100.01 or around $130,000. UNICEF says that the money’s collected from the EBay auction “could buy more than 16,200 mosquito nets to protect children and their families from malaria, or at least 210,000 vaccines to protect children against measles or enough textbooks, stationery and school supplies for 8,110 children for a year. “ However, what I also want to know is what the “buyer” plans to do with the hat? If they plan to wear it, they may want to get one of those mosquito nets. Congratulations to Princess Beatrice for having good taste in her social responsibility choices, and those are much more important than fashion statements, whether you liked or hated the hat designed by the London-based milliner Philip Treacy. If Lady Gaga can do it… More Fun at “UNdiplomatic TV” Channel - diplomaticallyincorrect.org/c/undiplomatic -----By, Susan Sacirbey Face Book: “Diplomatically Incorrect” and “UNdiplomatic TV” Twitter: DiplomaticallyX
