In light of the government enforcing clearer warnings on the dangers of drinking whilst pregnant, I feel a little on my soap box. I have just watched a lady giving an interview who stated that had the warnings been clearer whilst she was pregnant, she would not have drank so heavily.
Now, we all know and common sense tells us that we are an incubator for that little life form and whatever goes into our body will affect it. I am not saying, I had the odd glass of shandy or a stout when my iron was low but I was fully aware of the implications of drinking therefore would do it on the rarest of occasions. I don't think wrapping it around the neck of a bottle will make any difference to someone who choses to drink heavily.
What is your take?
