Background of UoH
The establishment of university of Haripur is milestone in the history of Hazara, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Before that it was the campus of Hazara University, Mansehra. Its area round about 236 canals. There are many universities established before this university but yet not recognized by HEC, UoH is recognized.
What is quality education and why quality education is essential?
Definition of Quality:
Quality can be defined as the means through which an institution can guarantee with confidence and certainty, that the standards of its educational provision are being maintained and enhanced.
Why quality is essential?
An education system of poor quality may be one of the most important reasons why poor countries like Pakistan do not grow.
Without quality higher education, Pakistan will find it increasingly difficult to benefit from the global knowledge based economy.
Quality in higher education has assumed great significance in recent times in the context of “knowledge Society” or Knowledge driven Society.
The youth of today are now global citizens, so it becomes obligatory to educate it according to international standards.
It is a common belief/perception that majority of the Pakistani universities do not meet the international standards of higher education.
We have to accept Quality assurance as a challenge, which cannot be met without enhancing the quality on sustainable basis.

Higher Education, it is often argued, cannot be isolated from what precedes it i.e. quality of primary and secondary education. Improvements in quality at all levels of education are essential.

Devoted staff
The staff should be very supportive and experienced. It should be very commented to the quality education for all the students enrolled in the university of Haripur.
Good exam system
The education is the backbone of a nation. Infect no nation can survive without the power of education. The standard and systematic methods of education particularly in the field of academic education are must for a nation. In the light of this oracular truth, it is apparent to all that it is also very important that nation should introduce the best examination system in academic institutions which can best reflect the inner talent to the examinees
Course should be updated
The course should be updated according to the needs of modern standards
proper discipline
There should be proper discipline and all students should be bound to follow the rules.
creative activities to identify individuals’ various skills
Various people have various skills, so there should be some creative activities in order to give opportunities to students to expose their talent
The set rules should be practically implemented
The rules just not part of only prospectus. It should be practically implemented.
Orientation
Orientation should be more meaningful and not a mere one week process.
Research
There is need research to influence policy at higher level.
Translate research into practice
The research should be translated into practice to improve the role of higher education for social transformation.
Mandatory counseling
Mandatory counseling should be encouraged to help students to cope with their social, academic and bureaucratic challenges.
Decentralization of decision-making
A highly centralized system does not response as effectively to local needs
