Competitive Offer by Huawei?
If we were to base reviews merely on spec sheets alone, the Honor 6 is truly one of the most competitive smartphones that Huawei has ever shipped. It boasts of top dollar components while still being priced way lower than flagships by Samsung, Sony, Apple, and LG. Here’s the spec sheet for your reference and review:

Monster specs right?! My initial concern was the quality and power of the processor since it’s made by Huawei themselves and not the familiar MediaTek or Qualcomm Snapdragon. Based on our time with theHuawei Ascend P7 though, this processor should be more than enough to deliver a good flagship level user experience.
The success of the Honor 6 will ultimately boil down to two major factors: price and compatibility with Android Lollipop. If the Honor 6 will be priced in the Php20,000 range, this will not fly. It’s a totally different matter though if it was offered at the mid-range level (Php15,000-Php18,000). Lastly Huawei should also confirm and announce compatibility and “upgradeability” to Android Lollipop. If these two things are okay then we have a very, very, very good offering from Huawei. We’ll try to reach out to them and as soon as we have news we’ll post it here.
PS: Yahoo earlier reported that the Honor 6 was being sold on Lazada for more than Php18,000. Upon checking, Lazada is now offering it at the Php21,000 range (with a disclaimer saying that it’s imported). We recommend that you guys hold off for now because the price should be lower once the device officially launches in the PH.
