These past couple of years, ever since they started charging for all access to their content and became obessed with Glee, I've been avoiding Hulu.com like the Plague.
But I have to hand it to them.
They came up with a magnificent, epic, beautiful, genius present for Hulu-gans and non Hulu-gans alike.
The Criterion Collection will be free to everyone starting today (February 15, 2013) to February 18th.
What? Can you explain that again for me?
910 films will be free for you to watch on Hulu this President;s Day weekend. Here are some of the Criterion Collection films on my must-watch list:
- Breathless
- Akira Kurosawa's Rashamon and Seven Samurai
- Solaris
- The Red Balloon
- Lord of the Flies
- David Lynch's Eraserhead
- Ingmar Bergman The Seventh Seal
I think I'm going to faint.
On top of that, I don't know how I'm going to be able to watch all of these films in one weekend.
I better start now! I suggest you do the same.
Here is your weekend. You're welcome: The Criterion Collection on Hulu
