Human Brain is the most important part of our body. Brain stores useful information. Without brain man cannot survive in this world. Our daily works are wholly related with our brain. The duties we perfume is all due to brain. Brain makes our body balanced
.
Our brain is divided into different parts or our brain has three sections.
I. Fore Brain
II. Mid Brain
III. Hind Brain.
Fore Brain:
Fore brain is the anterior part of our brain. It is the most important section of our brain. It Has more three functional parts which are as under:
- Cerebrum
- Thalamus
- Limbic system.
Thalamus:
Thalamus carries information from eye, ear, skin and other internal organ of the body to limbic system and also cerebrum.
Hypothalamus: Hypothalamus lies under the thalamus. Or we can say that thalamus lies above the hypothalamus. Hypothalamus is the part of limbic system. The pituitary gland is attached with the hypothalamus.
Pituitary Gland: Pituitary gland is small gland. The size of the pituitary gland is about the size of pea.
Limbic System:
Limbic system is located in arc between thalamus and cerebrum. The function of limbic system is to control thirst, fear, anger and pleasure etc.
Important In: Limbic system is important in the formation of memories.
Cerebrum:
Cerebrum is the largest part of the brain. Cerebrum also divided into two halves called cerebral hemisphere. These communications with each other by axon called as corpus callosum.
Cerebral Cortex: The outer surface of cerebrum is known is cerebral cortex. The most important part of the brain is cerebral cortex. About 80% of brain is filled with cerebral cortex. It is thrown into folds and convolution which increases surface area. It receives sensory information from all parts of the body then process it stores it and store some memory for future uses and also responsible of intelligence thinking, reasoning etc.
Mid Brain:
Mid Brain is present under the cerebral hemisphere.
Function: the function of mid brain is to connect fore brain with hindbrain. And also It controls the reflex movement of eyes and hearing.
