I feel I am addicted these days… My addiction is nor cigar neither alcohol. I feel it is something more harmful. It is a known addiction. I am addicted to facebook!
These days I couldn’t catch up with my works because I spent most of my time in the internet and especially in the facebook. I am afraid of going to turn to be a lazy and addicted person!
Internet, social networks and generally virtual world makes lots of facilities and improvement in people’s real life. In the case of social networks “my disease”; having an extended, fast and influential communication is one of its benefits. But I am going to lose my real life by spending too much time in the internet and these social media. Everything has a range of usage and I think I am using the facebook out of the range that it should be used.
In a swamp, how much you move more, you will drown more. This is what happens for me when using facebook. While I am extending my communication in the facebook and spending my time on it, I am losing my works and communication in the real life.
I should think of a way to throw this addiction away. Probably to decrease the dosage of using and come back to the real life, where mostly everything is more trustable and real.
Despite the facts that social medias have a great deal to have access to the today’s almost every new science and information in the world, in addition to be honest, living in the virtual world is more fun and easy too comparing to real life. Having lots of friends, more entertainments, and freedom are the stuff you will have more in this communities, but I prefer to spend most of my time with real people and in the real world rather than virtual world, the world that sometimes you cannot trust to.
Well, I think as a first step to abandon this addiction and scape from the facebook would be to log in to it and change my status to “I am going to abandon my “facebook addiction”.
Probably at the first hours after changing my status this is what I will do: waiting to see who is commenting and what they say about my latest update in the facebook and see how many like it gets!!!
