I hate old people who like to impose their values on others.

 

Some of their values are good, but not all are applicable in the society today.

 

Many old people still think that women today must hold on to the traditional values.

 

Traditionally in the society of Asia, the daughter-in-law has to take care of the whole family, including the parents-in-law.

 

That means they cook, wash the laundry, take care of children, and do all the housework for 10 or more people in the household.

 

The modern women work.  Many working mothers are highly educated.

 

They earn a lot of money, sometimes more than their husbands.  Some old people still insist that their highly-educated daughter-in-law does all the housework.

 

It is very unreasonable since many working women put in more than 10 hours in a work day.
