Once I read the newspaper interview of a clinical volunteer.
This clinical volunteer told the reporter that he had about $6000 in his bank account.
The reporter remarked that it is a very low figure.
When I read that, I was silently laughing in my mind. I have very little cash in the bank account, and always will have very little cash in the bank account.
That is a deliberate measure. I have a sum of cash in another saving account for emergency purpose. That amount is just enough to cover a few months of expenses.
I do not like to keep cash because the interest is too low.
When I have more money in the bank that I need, I will find some ways to invest the money, preferably in investment that does not allow me to liquidate any time I want.
