Jakarta - The event Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2014 result in the increase of sales of Honda in September 2014 A total of 16.327 units of Honda cars sold in September, an increase compared to sales in the previous month were recorded at 14.799 units.
Honda's biggest sales contribution comes from the Honda Jazz and the Honda Mobilio. The new Honda Jazz was awarded 'Car of the Year 2014' from Indonesia Automotive Journalists Forum (FORWOT) recorded sales of 3.140 units in September, with total sales of 16.006 units during the year 2014.
While Honda Mobilio recorded sales of 7.594 units in September. The amount is increased compared to the previous month, there were 6.706 units. Until now, Honda Mobilio has recorded total sales of 66.973 units during 2014.
While the segment LCGC Honda Brio Satya sold over 2.218 units in September, with total sales of 18.909 units during the 2014 New Honda Brio sold over 972 units in September with total sales of 9.699 units during 2014.
Honda CR-V sold more than 1.023 units in September increased from the previous month which sold 596 units, with total sales of 7.393 units during 2014.
The Honda Freed sold over 1.133 units in July, up from the previous month, which sold over 17 units with total sales of 4,947 units during 2014, while the Honda Odyssey sold 22 units in September, with total sales of 616 units during 2014.
In the sedan segment, Honda City sold over 192 units in September. Increase from the previous month sold 186 units, with total sales of 1.435 units during the 2014 Honda Civic, 15 units sold in September, with total sales of 345 units during the year 2014.
Honda Accord sold 16 units in September, with total sales of 355 units during the 2014 Honda CR-Z 2 units sold in September, with total sales of 108 units during 2014.
"Throughout the mat IIMS 2014, Honda managed to sell 5.592 units of the car. Sale is a very significant contribution to the total sales of Honda in 2014," said Jonfis Fandy, Marketing & Aftersales Service Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM).
"More importantly, that the new products that we launched also directly get a good response from consumers. Achievement in these IIMs will be a positive trend for Honda for sale in the coming months," he added.
Throughout 2014, Honda has recorded a total sales of 126.786 units in Indonesia.
