China on Tuesday declared plans to carry out a major military parade and inviting Russian President Vladimir Putin. Exiting from a practice of holding such events once in a decade, China will conduct the military parade this year in Beijing to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the success of World War II, official media here reported.
China will strengthen security for the event, Fu Zhenghua, chief of the Beijing Public Security Bureau was cited as saying by state run website. The Chinese foreign ministry has assured that Russian state leaders will be present at the war ceremony, making this the first time that foreign state leaders will attend a Chinese military parade. President Vladimir Putin 8%is probably to be present at the event.
