After a gloomy rainy day when Bangladesh concede ill-fated defeat in D/L method, the nature comes up with a sunny morning on Sunday.            

On the day, India won their first T20 against Afghanistan by 6 wickets while England beat Pakistan by 8 runs in third day of ICRC Int’l T20 Cricket Tournament on Sunday.

India took on Afghanistan on BKSP Gound 3 when England met Pakistan on Ground 4.

Riding on 73-run opening partnership between Mohammad Ullah and Jubair, Afghanistan scored 142 losing 9 wickets in their innings.

Mohammad Ullah gathered 33 runs from 27 balls and Jubair blasted 40 runs just from 25 balls off 8 boundaries.

India’s most successful bowler was Dinesh who took 3 wickets spending 20 runs in 4 overs.

In reply to Afghan’s 142-run target, Indian openers picked quick runs in the initial overs. The team India scored 40 runs from 30 balls.

India middle order Ansul gathered highest runs in their innings. Ansul scored 67 runs from 52 balls off 11 boundaries.

Ansul was selected man of the match.
