India seems to be really getting special treatment from Google today. To accompany the launch of their latest Android platform One is intended for users of smartphones in the entry-level segment and also low-end, Google announced that India would be the first country in which the users of the mobile version of the YouTube app users will be able to take advantage of the offline mode feature; a feature where users can download and store their favorite videos and then played again in another place, without having to connect to the internet via Aket data and WiFi.
It was submitted by one of the executives YouTube is Caesar Sengupta; in his speech, Sengupta said that the presence of features offline mode where users will spoil the cellular data connection is not available equally:
Release affordable products and services also in offline mode YouTube believed would further strengthen the grip of Google at most populous country 2nd in the world. Unfortunately Google does not provide information about which countries can later come to enjoy the facilities of the YouTube app offline mode, although it is probable that these features seems to take precedence for countries with modest internet connection
