Mahesh Bhupathi was the first Indian to win a Grand Slam in 1997. In the 18 years since, there have been only three other Indian winners. But within the space of two days, three more titles were won at Wimbledon by three Indians.  The first was won by Sania Mirza, and the other two- one by veteran Leander Paes and the other by 17-year-old Sumit Nagal. So, this year’s Wimbledon was something special to India.
