Vujicic was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, and it was a shock to his parents that he inwards without limbs. There is no medical reason for it . His  parents did their best to keep him in normal education and give him every chance to live better. He was  lucky to have a brother and sister, like his best friends.

Over the past 15 years, the Australian-born Vujicic, whose lack of arms and legs is the result of an extremely rare congenital disease syndrome called Tetra-Amelia, used his humor and faith to inspire millions of people.
