امروز ۸ مارچ روز جهانی زن است. روزی که نماد ایستادگی و مقاومت زنان در برابر نابرابری های اجتماعی است و به بشر ثابت کرد که جنسیت نمیتواند نمادی برای تمایز افراد از یکدیگر باشد. آری درست میگویند که زن با یک دستش گهواره و با دست دیگرش جهان را تکان میدهد، زنان تاریخ ساز زیادی نه تنها در جهان که در افغانستان آمدند و رفتند و تا اکنون بشریت از دستاوردهای آنها بهره مند است
جای خرسندی است که در حال و هوای همین روزها خانم نسرین اوریاخیل مدیر بیمارستان زنان ملالی در کابل برنده یکی از ده جایزه برای زنان شجاع در دنیا شد که این جوایز توسط بانوی اول آمریکا به آنها اهدا گردید. چقدر مایه خرسندی و افتخار است که زنان افغان با در نظر داشت تمام چالش های فرا رویشان دست از تلاش و مبارزه در راستای تحقق اهدافشان بر نمیدارند و همچنان به مبارزاتشان برای اثبات اینکه برابری یکی از حقوق اصلی آنهاست با همه نا برابری ها و طعنه ها دست و پنجه نرم میکنند
Today is the International Women's Day. A day which represents the struggle and hard works of women who fought for their rights and equality. Afghan women is not the exception for this day. During decades they have faced challeges and violances but they still believe on their equal rights.
One of the great news that I read some days ago on International Women of Courage, an Afghan woman Dr. Nasrin Oryakhil, Director, Malalai Maternity Hospital Kabul (Afghanistan) won the award for 10 extraordinary women from 10 countries .
Here in Women's Annex Foundation as a platform which our saying is :

We believe on the power of education and social/digital media to support women empowerment. Since we have started our project in Afghanitan we built 10 Computer Media Lab at 10 public schools in Herat - Afghanistan and 2 Media Centers for Women in Kabul and Herat. Right now we have around 6,000 Afghan users in our platform which among them women are the best performers in case of their social activities.
It is an amazing experience to work with Afghan students and women to build an online community which makes a bridge that connect them to other people around the world.
