Hi, I will post my blog here about things I like doing, or things I'm good at.  

I'm a computer technician by profession, but I also love other things other than computer hardware. I also like using and sharing cool software and internet technologies.  

With my current job now at a small call center. I've learned a lot of things, one of those is about Internet Telephony, or simply termed VOIP (voice over internet protocol).

My interest in it grew when one of my friends introduced me to a service where you can make calls to a regular phone number anywhere in the world, using the internet.  Skype has been around for a while that time.  But using skype means using a PC that time.  In our locality, when I started learning VOIP, Android Smartphones are just gaining popularity. 

The VOIP service that my friend introduced me to, can be setup to a physical Internet Phone system. A hardware connected to the internet, with a dedicated analog phone, a home phone really.  He gave me a business Idea that using that setup, I can setup a small calling booth, and earn some money by letting people call abroad using the VOIP service for cheaper cost than using the regular TELco's like PLDT or Smart to call relatives or business co-leagues abroad.  

And so my interest grew from that time.  And I will share some of my discoveries here.  I'll start with a list of topics to study, and sites to visit for my readers resources.  So they will be able to verify the things that I'm sharing here.

Basics Skills Needed

• Networking - You should have a basic knowledge of connecting computer to the internet, be familiar with managing a router/modem.
• Research Skill - basic skills in searching search engines , like google, to be able to use the right keywords to search terms or keywords. Understanding of how forum works.
• Software installation - basic understanding of installing an application or program on a windows operating system or linux operating system.
