This weekend's biggest movie will likely be "Interstellar," a science fiction drama starring Matthew McCounaughey and Anne Hathaway, among others. The movie explores the fate of the human race on earth as one of its last astronauts tries to guide a mission to explore three new planets in search of a new place to live.

It also explores the human relationship as McCounaughey's character battles inner struggles over whether or not he'll be able to see his son and daughter ever again.

 

 

Several movies have received better ratings at Rotten Tomatoes, as "Interstellar" has just a 72% overall aggregate score from critics as of this report. However, the star power (pun intended) not only of the lead actors, but also of the director, Christopher Nolan, seems to have a winning formula for a hit at the box office this weekend.

Other movies sure to bring in a big take will include "Big Hero 6," "Nightcrawler" and "Fury." Which of these, if any, will you be seeing at the theater this weekend?
