Eren Gulfidan interviews Karen and Ziggy Marley at SXSW 2012. The Marleys talk about the new documentary MARLEY, which is being released on April 20th in theaters and on the web simultaneously. Ziggy Marley tells us that MARLEY differs from other films about Bob Marley, because of the close involvement of the Marley family with the film, as well as the film's honest look at Bob Marley's life. The Marleys also talk about social media and the influence of art and music on underprivileged youth. To quote Ziggy Marley: "There's a part when sometimes, even within peace, you have to fight. When necessary, sometimes you have to. It's unavoidable, and you have to... in a defensive way. We're for peace, but if we have to defend ourselves, we have to do it."
