"Jihadi John" the public face of the ISIS and a symbol of its brutality who gained notoriety for his filmed execution of hostages has been confirmed as dead by a media outlet associated with the ISIS. Earlier the US military had claimed in November last year that they were reasonably certain that he had been killed in a drone strike by the US. The ISIS did not admit the news.
