This baby giraffe was being fed by the zoo keeper when we got this shot of here. So she came up real close to us. Even for a baby she was still tall. We were standing on kind of a platform so she is a lot taller then it appears in the picture.

J got to pet her on the nose, but she pulled back before I could snap the picture. The giraffe was more interested in the head of lettuce then she was letting someone touch her.

But J had a chance to touch a real giraffe and she can't wait to tell her best friend when she gets back home.
