The XF has been designed by the company’s head of design Ian Callum and is loosely based on the Jaguar S-Type class of vehicles but differs from the S-Type in many significant ways. The vehicle was codenamed as the X250 during its design phase and is presently manufactured by the iconic British car maker Jaguar at their Castle Bromwich facility in Birmingham, United Kingdom. The car was first unveiled to the general public at the 2007 Frankfurt motor show and production started in the following year after successful trial runs and continues till date. XF, XF Portfolio, XF Supercharged, and XFR are the four models of the car available in the market and the price range varies from $46,000 to $85,000.
