Jim Corbett National Park was the first to be declared as a national park in India. It is also known as the photographer’s dream. This park was also known for its man eating tigers. In 1936, this was first named as Ramganga National Park. It was only after the death of Sir Jim Corbett that the park was named as Jim Corbett National park. Today we come across news screening that the tigers are very soon going to be extinct but this park is known for its highest density of tigers and also for hosting maximum number of tourists amongst the national parks in India it is spread in Pauri and Nainital district of Uttarakhand. The park is divided into four parts and the total are is 1288 sq.km.
