Kim Kimble of the We TV show “L.A. Hair”, stopped by The Lab NYC to talk to Arthur Kade. In the shown Kim styles the hair for the likes of Mary J. Blidge, Beyonce, and Brandy. Kim tells us more about her background in hair, letting us know that she is a 3rd generation hairstylist, who grew up in a hair salon. Kim also tells us how she was able to secure such high profile television and film stars, Kim says “I work very hard, I have good customer service skills, and I always have to be ahead of the trend.” Kim also tells us she is able to deal with the various personalities on the show because they are a family and she has known the stylist for a long time. She says you have to deal with the personalities so that you do not have a large turnover rate. Kimble tells us that the trick to dealing with different hair textures is to learning how to style many types of hair no matter the ethnicity. Kim explains to us the surrealness of being on the other side of fame, she says its a different world, and though she enjoys the positive feed back, nothing could have prepared her for this experience.
